Dear brothers and sisters, I have a question? Is there a part of your life that needs improvement that you want GOD to give you grace and mercy? I am sure there is. We all do. Matthew 7:12 “Therefore all things whatsoever that ye would that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12 or the Golden Rule says that we should treat others the way we want to be treated. Right? Then dear saints the same grace and mercy that you want the loving Heavenly Father to give to you, can you give that to others? Are you willing to give that grace and mercy to leaders of the church? Can you give that grace and mercy to President Donald Trump? Who Donald Trump? Yes to our nation’s president Donald Trump. I ask you this because I hear so many of the saints speaking evil of and condemning our church leaders and Pres. Trump and this should not be. Again remember the Golden Rule. We want GOD to be very gracious and merciful to us, then we need to do the same to our church leaders and Pres. Trump. If they have faults instead of talking about them we should immediately pray for them. Avoid making negative and slanderous comments about them. What really will they do? And remember GOD is listening. We also have to be careful not to allow bitterness and unforgiveness to develop in our hearts. It is very hard to say that you don’t have ill feelings toward someone when you talk about them the way many talk about Donald Trump. We call him names and criticize him and say we don’ like him. Is that love? Is that forgiveness.

1 Chronicles 16:22 ” Saying touch not mine anointed do my prophets no harm.” GOD is very clear that he is highly displeased when people condemn those that he has called and chosen. He considers that we are talking about him. It is best to take your concerns to the LORD in prayer instead of saying the wrong things about the church or a church leader. Taling about a leader behind their back never helps. It tears down and you put yourself in trouble with GOD.

Matthew 5:44-45 ” But I say unto you, Love your enemies, Bless them that curse you, do Good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use and prosecute you; 45 That ye may be the CHILDREN of your FATHER in Heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just as well as the unjust.”

To be a child of GOD then we have to step up to the plate and do the hard work. We have to hold our tongue. We have to LOVE our enemies. We have to show grace and mercy to those that need it.
