For most of her life Kizzie Bell has suffered from sickle cell anemia and kidney disease. Although the disease has taken a tremendous toll on her body she has kept the faith, endured the sickness and pain, and believed God for the healing that he promised her. Well at a recent doctor’s appointment God showed up and showed out.  In May of this year she went to see her doctor and he began to ask her if she had considered having a kidney transplant. Kizzie replied, “No” and her doctor answered that she should.  Just recently she had a blood test done and went to get the results to make sure everything was okay. When the doctor returned from checking the results he returned with amazing news, Kizzie’s blood was back to normal. The doctor was shocked and was acting so strange that Kizzie started to become frightened. But instead of bad news, the doctor repeatedly said, “Oh my goodness, a miracle has happened”. The doctor said that Kizzie’s kidney function was back to normal. “It is as if the kidney disease never happened.  I have never seen this before.” To make sure there was no mistake the doctor went back and compared all of her previous test results. When he was finished he had to admit that a miracle had taken place. Simply amazed at what was taking place the doctor continued to say that had never seen such a drastic change in someone’s kidney. He said the results were as if she never had the disease. This may have been shocking news to the doctor but not to Kizzie. She was extremely excited and overjoyed but she was confident that God kept his promise to heal her.

Climbing up Stone Mountain was such a huge accomplishment for me! I feel like Rocky Balboa! I was quoting, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” the whole time.  This was not easy at all, thank you Lord, I MADE IT!
